Dal sito ufficiale del x360key, addon che permetterà di eseguire i backup dei propri Videogiochi per Xbox360 direttamente da HardDisk esterno USB, giunge la FAQ ufficiale del loro prodotto.

Configuring xKey - Fats
xKey requires a dump of the original firmware from your drive. This is copied to the xKey's SD card, when the xKey boots the firmware file its analysed, the drive type is identified and the drive key etc. are extracted.

If you have CFW
You should have a backup of the OFW (or all the information to recreate one) and it is this file that is used to configure xKey. There is no need to reflash your drive with OFW.

If you have a stock drive
a dump must be obtained using available tools (we recommend the Maximus Lizard 360).

Configuring xKey - Slims
xKey requires the file set (dummy.bin etc.) that can be created with available tools, these are copied to the xKey's SD card. When the xKey boots, the files are analysed, the drive type is identified and the drive key etc. are extracted.

If you have CFW
You should have a backup of the required files and they are used to configure xKey. There is no need to reflash your drive with OFW

If you have a stock drive
a dump must be obtained using available tools (we recommend the Maximus Lizard 360).

Firmware Dumping
At launch xKey can't dump the drive firmware. Updates, planned for shortly after release, will allow xKey to perform this task for you. There is no need to flash your drive and 0225+ owners can enjoy all the benefits of xKey without the hassle of swapping PCBs or waiting for an unlock hack

Dalla FAQ, si apprende che inizialmente, il prodotto non sarà in grado di estrarre la key direttamente dal lettore, ma questa funzione sarà implementata in seguito.
Ovviamente ciò non vuol dire che non vi sia un modo alternativo per bypassare questo inconveniente: basterà essere in possesso di un dump del Fw originale del proprio lettore (nel csaso si ha un CFW basterà ricreare l'OFW) e copiarlo nella SD da inserire nel x360key.
Fatto questo, all'avvio, il tool provvederà ad analizzare il Fw per estrarre i dati occorrenti al corretto riconoscimento da parte della console.

Che dire, non resta che attendere il rilascio di tale tool per testare i benefici delle nuove funzioni...

devi avere o estrarre il fw originale dal tuo lettore, fare lo spoof della key con il fw lt 2.0 relativo al tuo lettore e copiarla nella sd, se ai la console fat rinomini il fw in firmware.bin se ai la console slim lo rinomini dummy.bin.
il lettore deve essere originale e non modificato altrimenti non funziona xkey

Non e' necessario riflashare il lettore con l'original fw.
Bisogna essere in possesso del backup del nostro FW stock o ricostruirne uno.

La mia situazione attuale lettore con LT+2 Console fat il firmware stok lo scaricato ed e questo giusto orig-83850C adesso io dovrei mettere la mia key in questo firm pero' non so come si fa

Potresti gentilmente indicarmi quale guida dovrei seguire perche non ci sto capendo piu niente.
oppure potresti dirmi come si fa questo (spoof del fw) mim basta sapere solo i passaggi da fare grazie.
