EDIT: It got to 72 percent of "Copying update data to system strorge..." before I got the "The data is corrupted." message. But hey, that's 72% more than it got on previous releases. I'll try it from recovery now.

EDIT2: Updating from recovery is also a fail. Got the " The data is corrupted. (8002F2C5)" message. Guess I'll have to update it the new/old fashioned way. How monotonous. Oh well, Thanx @Rogero !

Seguite questo procedimento, dovete sempre tornare al 3.55, resettare il syscon o dehashare (tramite QA flag) e poi installare il CFW nuovo.

- Downgrading back to 3.55 is always possible using the following steps :
- Download the Downgrader PUP ---> Downgrader PUP mirror ---> Downgrader PUP
...Size 176MB (184,595,263 bytes) MD5: 49d80e07fc1f5ca1b0840e02e94635db
- Rename the downloaded file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" and put it on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP"
- While on Rogero CFW4.30, go to System Update from XMB and install the Downgrader PUP.
- After the Downgrader PUP installs you'll be on a hybrid CFW3.55 that will still shows ver4.21/4.30 from system settings.
- Enable QA flag by following these steps:

1- Download the Rebug QA_Toggle package from here ---> toggle_qa.pkg
2- Put the "toggle_qa.pkg" on USB and Install it on the PS3.
3- Run the "Rebug Toggle QA" from XMB, the screen will go Black and you will see HDD Led activity then if all went fine you will hear 2 or 3 Beeps and the PS3 will Restart back to XMB.
4- If you want to make sure QA flag was set, go to "Network Settings" then apply the following key combo (all at the same time):

L1 + L2 + L3 (press left stick) + R1 + R2 + dpad_down

You should see Edy Viewer, Debug Settings, and Install Package Files if done correctly.

- Now put "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP" ---> Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7.PUP
- Start the PS3 into Recovery Menu and install "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" (from Recovery Menu, this is important)
- Once you're back on Rogero CFW3.55 v3.7 Start the PS3 into Recovery Menu and install any CFW 3.55/4.21/4.30.

EDIT: piccolo appunto. Dopo che avete installato il CFW3.55 di Rogero V3.7 o quel che è, avrete già resettato il syscon/dehashato la console con la procedura del QA flag (fatto dopo aver installato l'hybrid firmware e prima del CFW 3.55 vero e proprio, come da mini-tutorial), per cui mettete il OFW 3.55, dopodiché passate al nuovo CFW che più vi aggrada.

Sinceramente.. sto Rogero 1.03 mi va benissimo.. avere il fix per playstation home nn me ne frega nulla.. rimango 1.03.. se avessero implementato cose migliori.. ma passo :asd:

con l'ultimo multiman dovrebbero riprendere a funzionare i bluray su quelle ps3 che per vari motivi legati a brick / downgrade errati non li leggevano più

Scusate, cortesemente una picccola precisazione, la mai ps3 slim monta un cfw 3.55 kmeaw mai downgradata, in pratica avevo un fw 3.41 poi aggiornai al 3.55 per poi montargli il cfw 3.55 Kmeaw, ora per passare al Rogero CEX-4.30 V1.04, che faccio rimetto il fw 3.55 originale e poi il Rogero CEX-4.30 V1.04 senza resettare il syscon, oppure devo comunque resettarlo?

Perchè non ho capito se bisogna resettare il syscon o no con un cfw 3.55 riportato a orig fw3.55 vorrei solo una conferma per non fare danni.

Hai seguito la procedura riportata sul tutorial? Ovvero Qaflag passaggio a OFW? Oppure hai fatto diversamente? Non c'è molto da dire... se hai seguito la procedura sei tranquillo altrimenti non lo sei
