No credo tu non abbia letto correttamente quello che c'è da fare. Eject proprio non c'entra nulla col fix.

comunque il fatto di prendere la 5V da un'altra presa (in quel caso USB frontale) non cambia un bel nulla.
Perché il punto dove andrai a saldare la nuova 5V presa dalla USB frontale è connesso con la porta mini usb del clip on PCB, quindi quando io connetto il mio wall charger alla porta mini usb, è come se saldassi un filo 5V come fa il tizio della guida.

Esatto il trucco è nell'induttore. Prendere la 5V internamente è solo più "carino", così da non dover tirare un cavo usb dal retro della console fino alle porte usb anteriori.
Comunque l'estratto che hai citato prima era solo il parziale resoconto delle prove che aveva fatto Alfredo inizialmente. La soluzione "definitiva", se così si può dire, è appunto la 5V in combinazione col taglio pista e l'induttore. Tutto qui.
Ho aggiornato il fw 2.2 sulla mia ps3 superslim ( il mio sarebbe il 5p10B10 ) ma ho notato che quando avvio Cobra ODE Browser mi dice fra parentesi fw 2.1 .... non capisco se si è aggiornato il chip o no... (tutte le 3 luci di colori diveri me le ha fatte quando lo messo in pochi secondi )... ho provato il nuovo swap (dimesioni 10 gb diventa) con le relative iso passate con i nuovi programmi aggiornati ...risultato mi esce error 80010017 , poi ho riprovato per curiosità ad usare il vecchio swap di prima con le iso che avevo conservato ma create per il fw 4.55 e tutti i giochi vanno... A sto punto mi viene il dubbio che il fw 2.2 sulla mia console non si è installato ( l'ho rimesso ben 4 volte sia quello fix e quello prima ma dal browser dice sempre (fw 2.1) .........
a me dice FW 2.2 quindi qualcosa è andato storto! a me funziona tutto tranne i PSN

Risolto erano le due chiavette usb che non andava a buon fine messo la sanddisk tutto ok ora vedo fw 2.2 e fifa dei mondiali mi va online :)
anche io sono online e per ora niente BAN...speriamo bene!
ho avuto problemi oltre che con le pennette, anche coi vari HDD...quello usb 3.0 da 3TB non va proprio.
altra rottura sono i giochi ai quali è stato applicato un game update...tocca swappare 2 volte: originale -> swap -> originale -> swap
Però almeno vanno con i game update. Il Team E3 ancora non si è fatto sentire per esempio...Citazione:

Cobra ODE News - Information
Pictured below is the new DMC module for PHAT PATA, SATA PHAT, 2k, 2k5 and 3k consoles which enables use of all versions of Cobra ODE (3.xx/4.xx and 5.xx) on 4.60 OFW. A swap disc is required in line with current usage of Cobra ODE on OFW 4,60 and 4k consoles.
The DMC module has an Actel FPGA on board which controls the optical lens' units disc eject motor, thus enabling us to insert and remove discs without detection by the drive controller. The onboard FPGA is linked to a USB PHY which enables full reprogramming of the FPGA at any time via USB connected to your PC.
The Cobra DMC connects to the Cobra ODE (all models) via the JTAG 24 pin FFC port on the Cobra ODE and the "main" port on the Cobra DMC. All necessary cables are included.
The Cobra DMC can be mounted adjacent to the optical drive of your PS3. The module then connects to the eject motor inside your drive, without soldering via FFC cables.
The suggested retail price of the Cobra ODE DMC is USD 29.99 or less.
First shipments of Cobra DMC will be with resellers by September 30th latest. Please pre-order early to avoid disappointment.
The 5.1B and 5.3A Cobra ODE devices can also be purchased bundled with the DMC module for 20 USD extra approximately.
The Cobra Team is now testing the recently released 4.65 OFW to confirm compatibility, verification results will be posted soon.
