What do you mean "write the key"? Post_out is used entirely for debugging purposes, it's to know where/when the startup failed and what was the cause of it... nothing else... well, for microsoft anyways... for us, it's to know where we are in the boot process, making it possible for us to determine when to send our reset pulse

If you sit back and read the name one more time you'll also understand that it's output, not input... output means that whatever is going on is sending something here, not accepting information to use in some way...

I'm not sure that real name is Winchester.
It comes from build.py script, but it'is a little outdated.
For example AutoGG recognizes it as JasperBB.

AutoGG fails...

SMC Version 7.# == Winchester, 8.# is another one that was recently discovered, i don't remember the name of that one tho, and 9.# is yet another revision we found, but it's likely the server revision for the Xbox 360 gamestream for Xbox One

The naming doesn't come from build.py, it comes from Microsoft, the working name for this revision is Winchester...
