[RGH] Amazemod will not boot with slim console

Hello guys,
I need a little help with RGH.
I have tried many ways to install amazemod on a slim console.
The chip is trying to glitch, I can tell by the blinking light.
The light is blinking exactly every 6 seconds (stable 6 seconds, not like matrix)
While other glitchers will blink exactly every 7 seconds.
I have tried different wire types, wire lengths, any possible tricks.
But nothing works, can anyone give this st00pid n00b a hand?

i have tried 5 amazemods in this console, none works

This evening on jasper 16 MB 1/4 work , with matrix no problem to boot , maybe this chip are economic only?

Amazemod have included the 220pf capacitor between cpu rst and gnd?

yer, they has 220pf between CPU_RST and GND for slims.
@the pusher: I also tried it with a jasper and falcon today, working flawless.

today i have tried to raise the capacitor value, it boots several times with 330pF and the wire length is 66cm, looped on top side of the mainboard.
but only few times, then back to no no

Maybe there are faulty, other I don't know, you can try to replace cpld but maybe there is pcb...

i think so too.
i suspect the pcb is bad.
but check this out, this is my last experiment with amazemod.

i remove the original capacitor and use 330pF, the wire is stranded, looped, 50cm long.
it boots few times, very random

What CPU_RESET point you are using on top?

Got the same problems with amazemod on slim.

@flunker: the cpu_rst point is on top of the mainboard, right on the other side of regular spot.

But I see you succeeded with two pcb's! With modified cap and unmodified?

Amazemod isn't equipped with the same CPLD like the other modchips based on gligli's project, and also the VHDL code has been changed to allow multiple timing and fat/slim selection... maybe chinese "engineers" have made some mistakes with the slim part of the VHDL code, so the chip doesn't work on them. If you tried various capacitor values without success, I think you should use another modchip, because you may only waste time.

i think so too, but unfortunately not.
i sent the same chip that i fail to install (which i have marked) back to their 'engineers'.
and they sent me a vid showing it's working like a champ (that is the chip that i have marked).
you can see i have erased the brand on the chip.

I removed the original capacitor, it was ~320 pF, put 220pF.
The wires were from supplier. Scheme was standart too except ground soldering (as nice69 did) and top coil location. It succeded!
At first the reset wire (50 cm) was expanded over perimeter, it gave 10, 10, 25, 31 attempts to glitch (6 seconds for every attempt). Then I made coils and it made great improvement: 2,6,2,2,5,13,2,5,2,3,3,7 attempts to start xell. It is still stable after box assembly.
